Do you have an older teleprompter system that is in need of an upgrade?  Think about replacing the monitor with a newer technology of these LED type.  With inputs that include HDMI & SDI, you will definitely be moving forward.  Available in the following sizes:

12″ (mainly for field use or small studios.  Expect readable distance of 15 feet max.)
15″ (used for both field and studio.  Expect readable distance of 15-20 feet)
17″ (can be used in the filed, but due to the size/weight, is better in the studio.  Expect readable distance of 20-22 feet)
19″ (due to the size and weight, this is best used in a studio.  Expect readable distance of 25 feet max)
